Turkish Airlines (THY) universal boss Temel Kotil said the 73-year old state airline, THY, has busted a number of minutes this year.
Kotil learned that on standard THY makes 500 trips per day with 70 percent tenancy.
In the lately finded 24 directs 55 percent tenancy has been attained, Kotil said, adding that THY has become a “shining star” of the airline business.
The new directs are all commercial, “There was an increasing trade insist for principal Asian trips, and so we added additional trips to some directs. THY’s newest register was six new directs in one year, and now with the new 24 directs we will improve revenue significantly,” THY’s universal boss said.
THY did not require additional pilots or crew appendages. The airline is run in line with international regulations with no concessions made.
“A series purchased from Sweden for $10 million, the cubicle crew schedule is primed in spread and no pilot is permitted to fly no more than 110 hours. We would not tolerate our pilots to fly longer besides. We will not compromise departure shelter,” Kotil said.
THY presently has 12,000 personnel, the same number as in 2002; while yearly passenger travel has risen from 10 to 18 million.
All departments have mobilized to make THY one of the world’s primary airlines, and star has helped staff’ spirits immensely, Kotil said.
