Mumbai: Next time you book your air permit online think twofold. odds are you may not get your refund back in time if you determine not to trek. numerous patrons have been struggling to get their refunds for months.
Everyday, for the last nine months Manish Garg of Bangalore has been expenses hours before his processor script letterss to Air Deccan. But he has not expected a definite answer as yet.
In November 2005 his account was illegally chargeed double for a label he booked through Air Deccan. because then it has been an endless delay for him to get his money back.
Manish says, “For the first few months when I beam to the call centre they reserved on maxim that my refund will be methoded in the next 15 living.”
In its comeback Air Deccan says because it is an old folder the cache does not have payment minutiae. Now the circle will have to score full transaction niceties and will convey a cheque to the consumer inside 20 time.
But Manish is not the only one. Air India's patron Priya Maheshwari is facing a analogous drawback.
Manish adds, “I called up the patron ritual centre but they did not answer. Later when I hunted to preach to the supervisor they did not answer and said I cannot chat to the supervisor.”
Air India in its answer says it is looking into the count and will revert presently. Manish and Priya are scarcely abandoned.
TV18 has expected moans from numerous other clients struggling to get refunds. With increasing number of regulars leaving online, airline companies may require to do more to beef up their methods.
