International air passenger passage rose 6.7 percent in the first six months of 2006 compared with the same phase final year, the International Air transfer Association (IATA) said on Thursday.

For the record month of June, international passenger passage rose 6.5 percent over the same phase in 2005 and international shipment passage rose 4.1 percent.
