AirTran fortune has no objective of increasing its proffer for Midwest Air Group after Midwest's timber advised shareholders to deny the hostile bid, AirTran's chief working official said on Friday.
AirTran, mother of low-outlay mover AirTran Airways, will last shopping its proffer of USD$15 per portion, or about USD$389 million, to Midwest sponsors although comments from Midwest's timber, which called the proffer "inadequate," Bob Fornaro said.
"This is a healthful proffer and we're not looking at increasing the proffer," he said. "That's it."
